Welcome to Norman B. Barr CampWe are excited to begin our 2011 summer at Norman B. Barr Camp. This year we are on track to host more children than ever before and are proud to carry on Rev. Norman B. Barr’s legacy. While continuing the traditions of Barr Camp and the mission of Rev. Barr we to try to expand on his vision and adapt to the needs of the campers that we serve. Norman B. Barr Camp is located in southern Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Geneva in Walworth County. The camp sits between the towns of Fontana and Williams Bay. It is bordered by Holiday Home Camp and Aurora University's George Williams College Campus. Our camp hosts children's camp groups and is the summer home for many families from the Chicago area. Our mission is to provide a Christian summer camp for children who are underprivileged from churches, Sunday schools, and social service institutions, and to conduct Christian church services and religious and social gatherings for all campers and cottagers. Check the Norman B. Barr Camp Blog for the most updated Barr Camp news. We're also on Facebook and Flickr! |
